It started with 20,000 steps in Rome.
A long day of walking, no real plan, and a tired return to the hotel. We had covered a lot of ground, but felt we had missed the city. Vidici grew out of a simple question: what if exploring felt like a story you were part of, not a list you were trying to finish?

Our name takes its cue from “Veni, vidi, vici.” Vidi is the discovery; vici is the feeling of reaching that last stop. The dot is your check-in: a small mark that says you were really there.
